UK / Inquiry into Ardley incinerator opened
German company MVV Umwelt has started preliminary site investigations for a waste incinerator at Devonport. The company has started drilling test boreholes at North Yard, inside Devonport Naval Base. MVV Umwelt is one of two remaining bidders in the contest to build a GBP 100million waste incinerator to handle domestic rubbish from Plymouth, Torbay and South Devon.
