Russia / New WTE contract for Fisia Babcock
Fisia Babcock Environment GmbH reports a new bulk order including the planning, construction and commissioning of a new MPZ 1 waste-to-energy plant in Moscow. The facility, which is located in the northern part of the city, will comprise three incineration lines with an overall capacity of about 750,000 tons per year. The client of the plant is a subsidiary of Austrian EVN AG. The company already built a WTE plant in southern Moscow between 2005 and 2007 which will be operated by EVN until 2019. Further facilities are planned for further municipalities.
