UK / Surrey drops plans for incinerators
Surrey County Council wants to boost recycling instead of building two incinerators and has withdrawn planning applications for incinerators at Capel and Trumps Farm. The council plans to build an “eco park” which would incorporate waste treatment facilities, an innovation centre and a public education centre.
